Sweden’s Defense Force May Need Strengthening, Prime Minister Warns
Sweden’s Prime Minister, Ulf Kristersson, has raised concerns about the need to bolster the country’s defense capabilities in the face of potential hybrid warfare threats in the Nordic and Baltic regions. Speaking at a security conference in the ski resort of Salen, Kristersson hinted at the possibility of increasing defense spending to enhance Sweden’s military readiness.

Kristersson highlighted the disparity in defense spending among neighboring countries, with the Baltic nations investing about 3% of their economy on defense and Finland allocating 2.4%.
