Asaduddin Owaisi, the big boss of All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM), decided to give his full support to the BJP government in the Centre after the Pahalgam terror attack which happened on April 22 in Jammu and Kashmir where 26 innocent people got killed. He mentioned that his gang will back up any decisions the government, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, makes for the nation’s interest. “I don’t really know why this matters, but it’s time to focus on our country. AIMIM will stick together with whatever moves the government makes for national interest, security, and safeguarding the Kashmiri folks,” Asaduddin Owaisi said. “Afterwards, we can talk about our beef with each other. But right now, we need to be on the same page at this crucial moment,” he included. “The government is already handling things in the international scene. Whatever actions have been taken in the Cabinet Committee on Security, we are cool with it. We gotta do what we gotta do,” Owaisi expressed. “Our political beef (with the BJP government) will keep going and will never stop. But, it’s time for us to stick together,” the AIMIM head honcho added. Owaisi previously gave a thumbs up to the suspension of the Indus Water Treaty with Pakistan. He emphasized that the issue shouldn’t be turned into a political game. Owaisi also pushed the government to take action against the country that shelters terrorist groups. Mentioning international law, he highlighted that India has the right to set up air and naval blockades for self-defense. India can also slap sanctions on Pakistan, especially regarding weapons deals, he added. Asaduddin Owaisi threw shade at the security blunders in the Pahalgam terror attack. He questioned why CRPF peeps weren’t stationed at the Baisaran meadow and why it took the quick reaction team an hour to show up. Asaduddin Owaisi claimed that the attackers targeted victims based on their religion. According to him, it revealed a major slip-up in intelligence and readiness.
